Beginner Online Puppy Course - 4 weeks

A 6 week course for puppies and rescue dogs.
In this 6 week course, you and your puppy/rescue dog will learn all you need for them to develop lifelong good manners. We cover topics such as proper puppy play, mouthing, the essential basic commands such as how to focus on you, walk on a loose lead, recall and more. Perhaps most fun of all, we allow your dogs to socialise, play and importantly build confidence.
All training is done outside at Berkshire College of Agriculture, setting your dog up for success in the real world; so please come prepared for the outdoors! Only positive, reward-based methods are used that are proven to be effective.
New procedures in place. As per the government guidelines, these will include each dog being handled by only one adult so unfortunately no other family members to attend. All dogs to remain on leads at all times and no handling of other people’s dogs. Social distancing to be adhered to throughout. No course will have more than 5 dogs/5 handlers plus myself present. More details will be sent with the confirmed location.

Puppy Garden Visit

I also offer a private consultation at home in your garden, to discuss any individual questions you may have. This can be especially useful before your puppy is vaccinated or before you bring your him or her home.
This will be bespoke to your puppy and focus on your particular questions. Typical sessions focus on elements such as the important at-home skills such as toilet training, crate training, mouthing, sleeping through the night, proper puppy play, as well as getting a head start with key training.

60 min video call
Sometimes having a new puppy can feel quite daunting. This 1 hour video call will support you to help build confidence and gain the skills you need to manage your puppy effectively at home. The session is totally tailored to your needs but topics normally covered include: toilet training, crate training if required, nipping and jumping, building confidence in the puppy to be left alone, appropriate interaction with children and/or other pets.
